Expert valuation for porcelain, paintings, jade, bronzes and more

Why a Professional Appraisal Matters

Our Chinese antiques appraisal helps you understand authenticity, date, condition and realistic market value. This empowers you to insure properly, sell confidently, or simply document your collection.

What We Appraise

Porcelain & ceramics (Song–Qing, famille rose, export porcelain), paintings & calligraphy (scrolls, albums, fans), jade & hardstone, bronzes & Buddhist art, lacquer, furniture, scholar’s objects.

Our Appraisal Process

  1. Submit photos & details — Use the Submit Your Request form or email [email protected]. Include front/back/base, marks, dimensions, condition, and any provenance.
  2. Free initial review — We provide a preliminary assessment using recent auction and market comparables.
  3. Written valuation (optional) — For insurance/estate needs, we can arrange a paid written appraisal or in‑person inspection for high‑value items.
  4. Selling options — Consignment, auction placement, or private sale; we’ll advise the best route for your item.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the appraisal free?

Yes. Both photo and on-site appraisals are free. We normally start with a photo appraisal and valuation; if the photos are insufficient, we may decide to provide an on-site appraisal depending on the condition and number of items. Only if you request a formal written appraisal report (e.g., for insurance or estate purposes) may a fee be charged.

Can you appraise from photos only?

Preliminary valuations can be done online. For high‑value or complex pieces, an in‑person inspection may be required.

Will you buy my item?

In many cases we can make a direct purchase offer, or help you sell via consignment or auction for maximum return.
